“ Excellent, excellent, excellent! I had lunch here with the hubs yesterday and think I've found a new favorite Vietnamese spot. It's located on Magazine St., which is my favorite street in the entire city. I spent so much of my childhood on my memaw and pawpaw's porch, watching people walk by on the banquet on this very street. What a great location. But I digress. We were greeted very warmly on a pretty chilly day. While we checked out the menu we sat at an adorable table - the seating is bench style and the benches are covered in cushioned velvety soft fabric. So comfortable. I chose grilled pork over rice and my honey went with grilled pork vermicelli. I asked if they offered a small pho, and although they don't, the sweet lady who waited on us was kind enough to give me little a bowl of their beef broth complete with fixings so that I could give it a try. The pho was amazing. Seriously - best pho I've ever had. My husband isn't a big pho fan and he loved it. Our entrees were much the same. We were impressed to say the least. The pork was perfectly cooked, and it was lean but still juicy. The flavor of both dishes was spot on. I really can't say enough good things about this gem. I'm so glad we gave it a try. ”

“ Ducked in for cover during a typically torrential downpour and had an incredible and affordable meal. The service was professional and friendly. The space was clean. I ordered the vegan pho and eggplant bahn mi. Both were excellent. The pho was among the best vegan broths I've had. The broth was light yet flavorful. The tofu was soft rather than fried. The veggies and accompaniments were great, though I would have liked some bok choy or cabbage. The cauliflower was a nice touch The eggplant ban mi was really nice. I'll be back, no question. ”

“ My favorite place to get pho in New Orleans! And that's saying a lot, considering the multitude of amazing Vietnamese food in this town. The ingredients always feel very fresh. However, my favorite thing about the pho is its broth. Unctuous, flavorful... yum! Other standouts on the menu include the banh mis, the spring rolls (about 10 options!), and the Vietnamese iced coffee (cafe sua da). Soooooo good! Also, this place has a wide variety of veggie options, which can be hard to find at some pho spots. Bon appetit!!! ”

“ Ordered from Uber Eats and was the first time I've ever had Oxtail Pho. The meat falls off the bone and broth was not your traditional pho broth however still tasty. Have ordered from there a few more times since, but sometimes they are out of the Oxtail Pho early which is disappointing. ”

“ I love Vietnamese food so much and have a few casual places that I normally go, but wanted to step it up a notch and go somewhere a little bit fancier for a date night! I think I found my new favorite place for Vietnamese food. For starters, the atmosphere is adorable. You immediately feel happy when you walk in the door. The perfect place for a cozy meal! We had so many delicious menu items. We started with crab rangoons. They aren't what you're imagining that you get at every Chinese food restaurant. These were actually fresh and came with an amazing citrus dipping sauce. For my entree, I had the beef pho. I must say it was very good, but certainly not the best pho I've had. They don't have bean sprouts which is one of my favorite things to put in my soup. My husband's entree was so good I'm still dreaming about it. He got the filet mignon noodle bowl. The filet was cooked better than I've had at most steak restaurants and the noodles were incredible. Make a plan to go here- you won't regret it! ”

“ I've been here twice now and I have enjoyed my meals each time. The service has been kind and casual, the prices are reasonable and the food has been exactly what I have expected. Yesterday for instance my garlic-fried-tofu bun/vermicelli was delicious, fresh and light, well proportioned and very satisfying. For me (the gal from Mid-City) the biggest drawback is the location. Near Napoleon on Magazine St., the parking can be a challenge, especially mid-day, and because of the endless construction between my side of town and this side of town, I just don't come here very often. If you are on this side though, and want some good and popular Vietnamese dishes, this is a great place to go. They even offer a few outside tables when the weather is nice. ”
